What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

One Halloween, my best friend and I put on her mom’s long flowing nightgowns and dusted ourselves with baby powder until we looked ghostly and half-dead. We snuck into the graveyard and jumped out at people walking by. One guy gasped and speed-walked away without looking back. A group of teens screamed and took off down the road. We couldn’t stop laughing. It was simple, ridiculous, and way too fun.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I'm from Maine. I grew up down the road from Stephen King’s nightmares! We don’t flinch at haunted houses, we rent them out to tourists. I’ve driven through fog thicker than plot twists and eaten lobster next to a clown sewer grate. I don’t run, I grab a shovel and make sure there is no sequel.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I’d sink it into a down payment on my very own haunted hideaway. Halloween décor? Permanent. I want the neighbors whispering, “What kind of ghoul lives there?” every time they pass.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

Jamie Lee Curtis is my hero because she’s exactly who I’d want next to me in a horror movie. Smart, tough, and not here for anyone’s nonsense. She doesn’t panic, she gets practical. She’d spot the danger before it hits, crack a joke to keep us sane, and still have a plan to get out alive. She’s survived it all and stayed sharp. If I’m facing something dark and twisted, I want her in my corner.
