Misha Bogar

I’ve loved horror for 40+ years—Jamie, Kane, Matthew! Let me bring screams, laughs & love. I’d use the prize to help my sister fight cancer.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

When I was 17, my friends and I snuck into a graveyard on Halloween night for a little scare. We were laughing and daring each other to walk deeper in when we spotted a tall, ghostly white figure moving between the headstones. At first, we thought it was a prank—until it turned toward us and started coming closer. Panic hit, and we ran full speed to the car, swearing we’d never go back. That night still gives me chills.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d make it to the end of a horror movie because I’m smart, quick-thinking, and know when to run instead of investigate strange noises. I’d stay calm under pressure, outsmart the villain, and fight to survive. Plus, I’d love to prove that Black people aren’t always the first to die in horror films—someone has to change the narrative, and I’m ready to be that final survivor who makes it to the credits.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

If I won the $13,000 from The Face of Halloween contest, I would first help my sister, who is battling stage 4 cancer, by covering part of her medical bills and treatment costs. Easing her financial burden would mean the world to me. I’d also use a portion to pay my own bills, secure stable housing, and invest in opportunities to further my acting career—turning this win into both hope for my family and a step toward my dreams.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

Jamie Lee Curtis is my real-life hero, and surviving a horror movie with her would be a dream come true. I’ve admired her and her legendary actor parents’ work for over 40 years. Her talent, strength, and iconic scream queen legacy have inspired me since childhood. Sharing the screen—and surviving to the end—alongside her would be an honor.
