Miranda Broadway

I live for the fall season, the cooler air and the seasons changing. I love the spooky movies and the costumes and candy. It’s magical!

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

The very first time I watched Halloween, Michael Meyers terrified me so much I would cry and hide as a child. I loved the safe fear factor, the frights from the unknown. Dressing up in costumes that made me feel invincible with my friends, staying up way too late eating too much candy getting so scared we couldn’t sleep. It was the best time when the air started to chill because you knew you were in for a fright. Sometimes I still need a buddy for a good haunted house!

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’m extremely skeptical about everything and everyone, and I have a level head when it comes to chaos. I’m well liked enough that I could find team mates in the worst of situations, and I’m always prepared for the worst outcome. Sometimes a person has to get their hands dirty for the better outcome of the group, and as long as you do right by others it should turn out okay

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I have goals and dreams to start my masters degree for theatre majoring in the performance track. It would help fund my schooling towards becoming a professional actor and have some funds on the side so I can join my hands on with the costume department so I’m multi talented. I love being useful.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

Jamie Lee Curtis, because her character has triumphed through so many evil endeavors that you know you’ll have level headed and superior knowledge with grit on your side. She doesn’t play, and I like having powerhouse players on my side. I’d loop in Matthew Lillard as well if we can have two people, so that way it’s a trio taking down the bad guys. I admire people that can put their head down and handle what needs to be done without questions just pure strategy and will to survive.
