Halloween is my favorite holiday and horror is my favorite movie/game genre. Instead of a damsel, I designed my own vampire character.
You decide who wins the sinister $13,000, and meets Jamie Lee Curtis, Matthew Lillard, and Kane Hodder!
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
For Halloween, I typically would dress up and go trick or treating. This particular year, we went to a haunted forest. It was so terrifying but fun. I specifically remember getting chased by a guy with a chainsaw and he placed it against me. I thought it was over but of course they removed the blades. Im happy to have shared that Halloween with my family and we went back multiple years after that. Honestly became a tradition.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
As a horror fan, if you have not learned what not to do at this point you probably don’t deserve to make it. Make sure your laces are tied and you don’t trip over imaginary pebbles. Dont look back. Don’t investigate strange noises, especially without a weapon. Dont open the door, answer the phone, split up, or say “i’ll be back”. Make sure the killer is completely dead. Most of all, don’t trust anyone!!! Its typically someone close to you.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
With $13,000 I would finally pursue my dream of taking classes to learn to create prosthetic makeup and to sew. I dream to not only create my own characters but to model for other people. I used to watch face off every season and just would be amazed wanting to wear their designs. As a cosplayer, this is so important to me to learn because it would completely take my looks to the next level. Guilty pleasure, definitely buying some skins on Dead By Daylight.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
If were talking a movie, i’d say Taraji P. Henson. Shes been my favorite female actress for as long as I can remember. Taraji is from the DMV and moved to LA to chase her dreams going against what everyone told her. Shes played various roles in various genres. However, after seeing Proud Mary and No Good Deed, she’s definitely survived challenging situations irl and in films. Representation as a black woman is so important. For those reasons, I choose her. Sorry mom :)
