Max Stec

In a long story short, it’s a lifestyle for me. I crave for the chills of every horror story, and for all superstition.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Every Halloween has been a memorable experience, from creating costumes to laughing at my friends surviving scary actors. The real question is "Which Halloween did I celebrate like the 'Face of Halloween' would? Let me tell you.In 2022, days ahead Halloween my ex and I consumed horror films. The day of, I took a train to Salam as Raven and my ex as Beast Boy. No plans, just a destination we crossed ghost tours, hunted houses, and eerie cemeteries. Just like 'Halloween Town', chills and fall air.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I attract strange, even scary events, but a tiny bit of luck and trust in my gut, I'm still here. Gradually, I've learned to stay alert, use creativity to survive, and scan places for trouble and exits. If it's a slasher, my boxing can help. From movies, I understood the survivors and I share a trait, we're all a bit paranoid, whether for survival or understanding, that is a critical skill to survive horror movies or start them. I would survive or live long enough to see my face under a mask.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

In the past year, I have been hospitalized twice, while my mother and sister once. The medical bills piled up, and my parents already share a heavy financial burden. Being able to cover some of these costs, plus other bills would remove some of that weight of their shoulders, and they can focus on themselves more. For me, I would set a portion aside for saving to move out and continue my costume design/film education.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

Despite living in different countries since I was 10, only seeing each other on video calls, or 2-3 times in person since I moved, my older brother is still my real-life hero. More now than ever, since he announced he's having twins, my mom is ecstatic, and it's no longer on me (thank you brother). Surviving a horror movie with someone who would die to protect you, but will lock you in a room with the killer for laughs is incomparable. I see my brother as indestructible and a better survivor.
