Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
My childhood was my most memorable experiences of Halloween. Most kids would want to dress up and go trick or treating, but not I. I would spend hours every Halloween and setting up a Haunted house out of materials I would but from the dollar store and big garbage trash bags my dad would bring from work. Even though I didn't have expensive materials, I did everything tastefully and precision and detail. I put my heart in everything I did and I made sure the trick or treaters had an experience.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I would survive because I have the will to survive. I have the gut to do whatever I need to do to make it to the other side. Whether it is a fun film like Coraline or a horror classic like The Shining. I will always have the strength to fight until the end, even if it means I lose some fingers or limbs along the way. Anyways, Tim Burton's the Corpse Bride is so beautiful even though she is rotting. Her uniqueness makes her so appealing. I feel so complimented when strangers compare me to her.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I am a single mom, to be honest, help my kids and myself be in a better position than I am today, but a part of that I would treat myself and take myself on a trip. Where would I go you might ask maybe Louisiana to meet face to face with a vampire? or Salem where I could walk along the path of the witches? Or possibly take myself to Transylvania and visit the castles. But whatever I do I will be thankful I was even given the opportunity to explore what I would only see in the movies and dream.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My real life hero is my dad, that man has always fueled all my dreams since I was little girl, when I had an obsession with spiders, he bought me tarantulas. When I wanted to build a haunted house he would be the scary voices on the karaoke machine for me. He believed in me even during times when I didn't believe in myself. I never will stop fighting with him by my side and that is why I know we would slash every goon and every demon that would come our way. With him, bring on all the nightmares
