Malana Hughes

I love horror movies, the scarier the better! I watch horror films almost every day. I was watching the 1988 film Slugs last night!

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

When I was a child we lived in Japan and inside our apartment building we did a haunted house. Each floor was circular in shape so as you reached a new floor you went around a new haunted house made by the tenants. My friends floor under us was so scary! They blacked out all the lights so you had to use a flashlight to see. They jumped scared us so many times! What a night !

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I think I would make it to the end of a horror movie, because I wouldn’t do the three no’s. No looking back when running, No one is safe even friends, and No drinking or eating things you didn’t make.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

With the $13,000 I would fix my car and take my daughter and I on a vacation to Scarowinds at Carowinds. She really wants to go this year because she has never been, plus she loves scary stuff as well!

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

A real-life hero I would want to help me survive a horror movie would be Sidney Prescott. She actually thinks before she reacts and she doesn’t move on emotions. This is how you’re able to survive in horror movies by using your wits and ways to survive, never freak out! Save me Sidney!!!!
