What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

My most memorable Halloween experience is when I went to Salem, Massachusetts with my friends for my birthday. We did a group Alice In Wonderland costume. I replicated Tim Burton’s interpretation of the Mad Hatter. From his white face and wacky eye shadow, to his massive hat and pleated suit. I was stopped countless times during our walk around the village for pictures. I even caught glimpses of people sneaking photos of me from afar! It is my favorite costume to this day:)

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I have been practicing my SFX makeup skils allll summer! From cuts to bruises, to nasty gashes and giant burns. I’ve heard some people say that MUA’s will survive the zombie apocalypse, and I think they’re right! My tactic would be to fool the killer that I’m already dead with my makeup skills 😏 then I’d lie on the ground in a weird, unflattering contorted way so it’s extra convincing. THEN once the killer leaves, I sprint away since I was a track star in high school. πŸ˜…

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I would pay off the last two years of room and board needed for college and finally buy my first car. I am going to be a junior, so I want to find an internship pertaining to SFX art. I am a makeup artist, but also a stop motion animator, puppeteer, fabricator, designer, and builder. I go to UCONN, majoring in puppet arts. If I had a vehicle, I could transport myself anywhere where I could find experience! It is my dream to work in a studio and on set one day. Extra $ would help my first steps:)

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

Like many, I am someone who can’t stand it when animals are in horror movies. I have been an animal lover my entire life, so I always feel bad when they’re in scary movies. In a fictional world, I survive the horror movie walking out with my cat of 16 years in my arms so that we can go home and take a well deserved nap after running from the killer.
