Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Call me basic, but Trick-or-treating. Being an 80s/90s kid, trick-or-treating was authentic. Just the experience of House-to-house at dusk and going while the moonlight broke through the crisp autumn vale. The owners did jump scares in hockey masks and with loud chainsaws. And the decorated yards were hypnotic. 1 yr, some owners did undead spawning behind DIY tombstone props, and I stampeded over one hiding when I ran for dear life from their front door after collecting candy-heard him go "ugh!"
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
Now, why would I share that information with just anyone, knowing someone reading this is the killer... I will only disclose I would use my DYI craft skills to create booby-traps and slow down the killer. Camouflage with the setting while using grounding skills to regulate my breathing and body to think clearly and rationally. I'm pretty good at puzzles, too, so I'd learn what reaching the ending credits entails as part of my survival tactic because of the self-awareness (aka meta-horror).
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I'd use 100% toward my private practice. My therapeutic service's primary focus is for individuals diagnosed with autism. Many autistic individuals - from youth to adult - identify and/or adore horror. The horror community has always helped autistic people with social belonging, emotional regulation, processing, and some level of sense of purpose. The money would go onto how to improve my services for this community.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My husband ... but he wouldn't survive regardless. So, then 2nd choice would be by cat, Carrie ... and yes she was named after the one you're thinking. Her scaredy cat anxiety would our greatest weapon! She'd alert me when to get the hell out of the place. I'm just saying...her survival mode is always on point! - Include that fight response if cannot flight aka run ... She will mess someone up because she's not some puss!
