My birthday is the day after Halloween so every birthday party I can remember was Halloween themed. We also turn our house into beetlejuice.
You decide who wins the sinister $13,000, and meets Jamie Lee Curtis, Matthew Lillard, and Kane Hodder!
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
My most memorable Halloween was the year I built and coded a singing skeleton with my grandpa. Every year we turned our house into Beetlejuice, and that year the skeleton sang songs from the musical. We laughed through every mistake until it came to life on Halloween night. My grandpa passed away last year, and this memory means even more now, it’s not just about Halloween, but the bond and creativity we shared.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’d make it to the end of the horror movie because I’d never be the one running into danger. While others are distracted by the chaos, I’d be observing, noticing the small details, and quietly staying out of sight. I’m not the loud character that draws attention. I’m the one who sees what’s happening from the shadows and avoids becoming the target, making it to the very end.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’d put the 13,000 toward my master’s in biomedical sciences. As a neuroscience undergrad, my fascination has always been with the brain, the spookiest organ of all, full of mysteries, shadows, and secrets still waiting to be uncovered. While Halloween celebrates skeletons and spirits, I’d use this prize to keep exploring the hauntingly complex world inside our heads
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My real-life hero I’d want to survive a horror movie with is Rosalind Franklin. She didn’t just face monsters, she survived the erasure of her brilliance. Her Photo 51 revealed DNA’s secrets, and in a haunted lab of viral mutations, she’d decode the pathogen, craft the cure, and still mentor the next generation. Quiet, brilliant, relentless she’d lead us all out alive.
