Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
When I was 3, my dad made me a zombie for Halloween with blood coming from my head and my face, just gory for a kid. My dad dressed up as a zombie too, with that same gore. My dad was never much for dressing up but this 1 Halloween he did! I remember trick or treating and the faces and remarks my father was getting were judgemental, but my dad didn't let it phase us and continued on for the night without a care for what others thought. My father is the reason for my love of horror!
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I'm the final girl with some major scream queen vibes. Watching as many horror movies as I have while growing up and into my 30s, has made me the ideal candidate to take on any obstacle thrown my way. Giving up is not the final girl way. You fight until there is nothing left. Oh, and I wouldn't just walk away after a few hits or stabs. I'm making sure the job is done while I'm watching them go through a wood chipper or burning them until there is nothing left but bones!
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I have 5 kids, this money would help me get ahead & go further than I could even begin to explain. As you could imagine, having 5 kids is very expensive and having to live paycheck to paycheck is so exhausting. With the money, I wouldn't have to worry about Christmas, I would be able to fix our car, & help me buy my daughters 1st car. Pretty much the money is for my kids & giving us financial help to get us ahead. Remember, horror is more than make-up or movies. It's a piece of who you are. Me.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My dad is my # 1. He raised my sister & I from the age of 5 & 7 years old. He raised us on everything horror. My dad always talked about his dreams & how he saved us from a zombie apocalypse . He lived his life through horror movies & as he would say, it was an escape from reality. My father passed away a year ago from dementia, he loved horror until his last breath. His fav. show playing in the background, The Waking Dead. My dad embodied horror, he passed that embodiment to me & me to my kids.
