Myself & my bestie of 28yrs are horror fiends. I have a deep love of cosplay, sfx makeup, & costume making. Horror is a huge part of my life

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
When I was little my mom would make my costumes. Which started my passion for costume and prop building. I remeber one year my mom built a giant tophat out of foam with suspenders so I looked like a rabbit coming out of the hat. And a giant jack in the box that we pulled my little sister around in. My mom was and is magic.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
Random noises? Absolutely not. Strangers? I don't think so. Found something interesting? No touchy! "I'm sure it will all be fine"? Not today, friend. First sign of shenanigans, I'm outtie 5000. I have a high pain tolerance, quick wit, and a "not today" attitude that just won't quit. We don't turn our back because "they're down/dead, so we're safe". No ma'am, we stay out of arms reach and do what we have to do to make sure they aren't getting back up. Stay in your lane, stay sane, and get out!
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I think I would like to travel somewhere I've always wanted to go. Experiences are so much more important than things and it would me amazing to go immerse myself in another culture.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
I'm sure I'm supposed to pick one but I can't. Growing up and even now as I approach 40, David Bowie and Tim Curry have always been heroes in my life. Through their artistic works and humanitarianism they made me feel like it was okay to be me, no matter what that looked like, even if it didn't fit the mold those around me had for me. They gave me the courage to be kind and creative while being unapologetically true to myself. Solid team of survivors.
