Because I wouldn’t do the dumb stuff—no splitting up, no running upstairs when there’s a front door, no yelling “Who’s there?” into the darkness. I’d keep my phone charged, car fueled, and sneakers laced.

I’d put it straight toward my college tuition or savings—because nothing’s scarier than student debt.
