Jordan Beaty

It bleeds into every other holiday and my day-to-day. I’m grateful they made “Thanksgiving” so I have a Thanksgiving horror movie to watch

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

When I was 11-12 I went to Field of Screams PA with my dad and aunt. Haunted houses and such don’t really get to me, and the actors figured that out quick, so they kept scooting up beside me and telling me to be quiet so they could scare my aunt in front of me. At one point, I directed someone with a chainsaw to her and they revved it on one side and put their pig-mask clad face in hers on the other side so when she jumped it was right into him. She started crying and it was mean but so funny

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’m not silly enough to stick around a place if I even suspect I might be in danger. If forced to stay in a place, anything is a weapon, I’m a fighter at heart, and I don’t leave my back exposed to attack. I’m also not silly enough to go off alone or with only one other person

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

My partner and I are saving up for a house or a piece of land to build a house on (and little do they know, it’ll get turned into a haunted house every year). It’ll either go directly into savings or a low-risk investment account. I have a friend who’s gonna help us decide which’ll be better with our goals in mind
