What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

I remember one year it rained on Halloween, so my siblings and I didn’t go trick-or-treating. We stayed in with my mom and watched The Exorcist while eating our favorite candies. The thunderstorm outside made the experience ten times better. I’ll never forget that night and the feeling of terror the movie gave me, while being comforted by my mom.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’m very witty and quick on my feet! I love dissecting slasher movies and thinking about what I would do differently from the characters in the film. My cousin and I actually used to dress up in masks when we were little and pretend to chase each other around as “the killer”. I would always end up hiding in a very unusual spot or I would outsmart my cousin and end up closing her in a room…then running away!! I also have a strong will to live (LOL), so I won’t go down without a fight!

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I’m currently in college on several need-based scholarships. This $13,000 would change my life…literally. I would use it to pay off some student loans I’ve already taken out, in addition to putting some towards my last two years of school. I might save a little bit to go all out on a Halloween costume on year ;)

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My cousin, River. She is one of the strongest people I know. She’s had a very rough childhood, but she just graduated high school and is going to college this year! She inspires me every day to make the most of what I have and to never give up. If I were in a horror movie with her, it would be both of us or neither of us surviving - she’s what keeps me going.
