Jennifer Thrasher

I have loved Halloween and all its wonderous scary, horror and glory since I was 3. My earliest movie memory is the pit and the pendulum!

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

A lot were so memorable. But the most memorable has to be my Halloween themed 50th birthday, organized by my kids and best friends. Right down to a skull cake with bone cookies! With ALL my best people and all presents were Halloween.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I am retired night nurse. 25 years of slipping into patients rooms WITHOUT waking them up? Can you fathom how quiet you have to be to empty a catheter bag and not wake someone up? I could probably sneak by the killer and take his vitals on the way by.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Honestly. Fix my truck and get my kid a car. Not having two vehicles sucks in Canada. Then pay some bills. BUT. I'm going to give myself 1500. I want a home depot giant skeleton and a fire breathing dragon if I can find one. I'm a simple person. I can also tell you- winning will make me pass out too!

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

Well. My best friend. Jim. He's been my ride or die bestie for more than 35 years. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for him or him for me. We have been friends throught feast, famine, pandemics and births and death. No one Left behind. Survive or die together. That's a hero.
