What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Having trick-or-treaters run up to our door on Halloween, calling it “the Halloween house” is a feeling of joy I can’t describe. We put a lot of work into crafting memorable Halloween experiences for the kids, which in turn makes them memorable for me. I feel like I’m paying it forward from the adults who made my childhood special in that same way.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’ve been watching horror movies for over 30 years so I feel like I’ve seen it all… I’d like to think I’d outsmart a killer, but the irony is I’m very easily spooked and can’t stand the sight of blood. I’d probably die halfway through the movie to be honest.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

I’d love to take a wedding anniversary trip to Salem with my wife (married October 30, 2020), pay off some household debt, and throw an unforgettable Halloween party.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

I have many real-life heroes who I admire & look up to. One of those heroes is my Dad. He’s the reason I carry so much joy around the Halloween season, because he always went above & beyond to make it fun for us kids. His passion was so contagious and he helped me learn how to make life more fun. He’s kind and creative and silly. He’s patient and thoughtful and loving.
