What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

When we used to deck out the front yard all spooky, my family and I would dress up in costumes and hide around the yard, jumping out at trick-or-treaters. We got some pretty good screams! We’d always end the night by watching Dracula (1931), and I even had a cat named Mena after the movie. My own little tradition that I still stick to is putting on Halloween (1978) right at midnight. Oh, and if it was Saturday, Svengoolie was on.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

First I’d start cracking ridiculous jokes with the killer until they’re so confused they forget why they’re there. Then I’d offer them a suspiciously glowing cupcake that looks like it came straight out of a haunted house. Finally I’d grab the nearest random object, a lamp or a rubber chicken or whatever I could find, and go full final girl mode.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Pay off debt and help my mom find an affordable place in this insanely expensive city! Oh, and maybe a decoration or two… or twenty.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

Jamie Lee Curtis has been my idol since the moment I saw her in Halloween. I was way too young to be watching that at the time, by the way. She’s the baddest, most awesome final girl and we’d definitely make it out. I also love that she seems so kind, caring, and nonjudgmental and doesn’t take crap from anyone. Especially Michael… haha!
