What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

We have a home haunt every Halloween. We made tons of our own props and even automated scares. One year we had a vampire themed house and I made a 7ft tall werewolf costume for my son. He was shackled to a wall and would act like an animatronic, then burst loose to scare guests. One of our teenage visitors, literally had the pee scared out of her… once we made sure she wasn’t scared for life, we all celebrated an epic haunt experience!

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

The key to surviving a horror movie is to not be too cocky and know what chances to take. You have to be smart enough to know when to hide and when to run, brave enough to fight back when you have good odds of surviving an encounter and of course lucky enough to stay out of the villain’s crosshairs when they are provoked. If you can combine all of those qualities and hopefully have some help from your friends, you just might be the final character!

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

If I were to survive this contest, I would put all of the money towards my wedding! I’m getting married on Halloween this year and we would make it an absolute blow out for all of our family and friends!

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My real-life hero is my best friend Mike, we both served in the Air Force, survived a bunch of deployments and got lucky enough to have one together! He was hurt pretty bad on his last parachute jump and has had more parts put back together, rebuilt, or swapped out than Frankenstein’s monster. Just a couple years ago he was diagnosed with a pretty aggressive cancer and had to endure radiation treatments all around is face and neck, but he kicked that monsters ass too… He’s the real survivor!
