What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Taking my younger siblings to their first ever haunted house was the best Halloween I’ve had. Of course I made them go first, with me trailing behind to see all their expressions. I will forever remember them clinging to each other and screaming at the very first jump scare.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I think the most important quality I have for in surviving a horror is being able to quickly and accurately determine when a situation is bad. From the get-go I can see a not only a bad situation, but also a bad decision from a mile away. As we all know, that is the fastest way for someone to die in a horror movie. I’m also able to effectively make important decisions under intense pressure due to my time spent playing various horror games like Dead by Daylight or Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Honestly, there are a million different things I would love to spend it in on, but I would probably default to the most important things in my life. I would start with fixing up my house, we have a couple holes in the floor, in thanks to a flood. From there, I would use the rest to pay for much needed dental work and fix my car up.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

To the surprise of no one in my life, Matthew Lilard is who I’d want to survive in a horror movie with. Watching him as Shaggy growing up was influential in my life. As I got older, I watched Scream for the first time, and grew to love Ghost Face. He became my favorite horror icon, especially Stu Macher. From there, seeing him in Five Nights at Freddy’s as Springtrap, cemented him as the #1 real-life horror hero in my life. He was with me as a kid and continues to be there for me as an adult.
