What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

Halloween ‘93—we roamed the streets in Thriller jackets, pillowcases overflowing with candy. Laughter died when we saw a man—no costume, no bag—just staring from the end of the street. We ran. Years later, handing out full-size bars and drinking October beers at Jamie’s, he asked, “Remember him?” I did. Driving home, I passed the old cul-de-sac—house gone, but I swear I saw red vanish into the trees. Thriller played. I didn’t look back.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’d make it to the end of a horror movie because I’m the one the monster regrets chasing. Rock ‘n’ roll rebel, boots worn from walking away from worse—I don’t panic when the lights flicker or something whispers my name. I smirk, maybe crack a joke sharp enough to stall death. I’ve got a fire poker in one hand and a rigged trap made from duct tape and bad ideas in the other. Fear doesn’t freeze me—it fuels me.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

If I won $13,000, I’d throw the wildest Halloween party in town—full-size candy bars, spooky gourmet cakes, strange chilling delicious treats with spiked witches brew, and a haunted house covering my home, garage, and backyard with eerie above-ground tunnels. My ghost pepper wings and made-from-scratch pizzas would sizzle on the grill. Lights flicker, music thumps, shadows move too naturally. It’s part party, part nightmare—a Monster mash & After-life Party nobody forgets. An 80’s slashback

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

If I had to survive a horror movie with anyone, it’d be Bruce Campbell. Chainsaw arm? Check. Shotgun? Check. And when he shouts “This is my BOOM-stick!!” from Army of Darkness, you know it’s game on. He’s the perfect mix of guts, grit, and dark humor—slaying demons with style while cracking one-liners. I’d be right beside him, fighting, laughing, and surviving the madness together.
