The options, and the sheer blandness of the task, had put me in a daze. Little goblins and gouls passing me. As I reached for a bottle, another hand reached for the same one. I pulled back, apologizing instinctively, but the other person just chuckled. The sound was familiar—and when I looked up, I saw him. It was Stephen King, with my bottle.
