Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
As a kid, I was a huge scaredy-cat, completely terrified of anything spooky (including the Halloween aisle at the store). My most memorable moment though was trick or treating, when a teenager busted out of a garbage can he was hiding in and scared eight year old me so bad I ran home crying my eyes out. A lot has changed since then.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I would make it to the end of a horror movie for a lot of reasons and one of those isn’t common sense. I am fairly athletic and have quick reflexes (thanks to constant anxiety). I would forever be aware of my surroundings and ready for anything thanks to my extensive knowledge of anything horror. If this wouldn't guarantee my survival, I would run and as everyone knows, you just need to run faster than the slowest person.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I am a creator and as such I would love to grow the horror community in whatever capacity I can. I have been writing for many years, from supernatural to folk to lovecraftian horror and everything in between. I am currently writing a script for a horror short with a killer twist (if I do say so myself), and I would die to act in a horror movie. I would love to use the unlucky $13,000 to hone my craft and represent the beauty of horror in any capacity.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
As a ravenous horror fan, of course I would choose Stephen King to be by my side in the battle against evil. The man has created nightmares for over 30 year and I know that whatever we would face, he would know how to win gloriously. Not only is he a genre defining author, but an inspiring man. From dealing and beating addiction to surviving a near death experience, the man is unkillable.
