What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

While not one specific memory, the thing I always look back to the most is the costumes. Not only others, but my own as well. Halloween is the excuse to fall into your favourite characters for one night. Getting to be Darth Maul, The Undertaker, The Joker, and most recently, Papa Emeritus IV, is the type of voluntary possession I love and always remember fondly.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

If nothing else, I'm stubborn as all hell. No matter what the threat, you know for a fact I'm thinking logically and rebelliously, to not only survive but to also make sure whatever evil entity has targeted me never forgets who it's dealing with. The darkness is where I thrive. The unknown is what I seek. Survival? Just a part of the job. Bring it on, demons.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

My plan for the $13,000 is to fully fund and create a short psychological-horror film that I've been eager to make for a very long time. The idea deals with the concept of our younger selves. If we could do it all over again what would we do differently? But more specifically: if we were forced with a choice to continue on in our current life or try again, what would we sacrifice to get there? I hope to win this contest to be able to dive deeply into the horror genre and add my mark.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

My real life hero is my younger sister. She's the reason I keep doing what I do. She's the reason I make sure to try my hardest to be better every day. She's the reason I keep going in a world that sometimes feels like a horror movie itself. But also, she kicks absolute ass and I know we'd survive any terrifying scenario put in front of us. We would be the duo that monsters would check under their beds and in their closets for.
