Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
My most memorable Halloween experience happened in 2003, when I was invited to attend the “Halloween Returns to Haddonfield” Convention in Pasadena, CA…where I was asked to screen my fan film and meet with producer Moustapha Akkad. There I spent 3 days meeting celebrities, other fans, and made some amazing connections, friends and memories! I got to hang out with stars from the ‘Halloween’ franchise, and even got asked to dress up as Michael Myers and take photos with fans.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I would definitely make it to the end of a horror movie because I am not just a horror movie buff, but a horror movie screenwriter. I know the formula and “the rules”, and to outsmart the killer, you must think like one to remain one step ahead. In a supernatural horror, one must keep a strong mind and a strong will to not be manipulated or used by the demonic forces that terrorize you. Be aware of your surroundings, never be skeptical, and NEVER ASSUME…because that’s not the f*cking wind!!!
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
With the unlucky $13,000, I would definitely get myself a new car, pay off bills, and use a portion of it to donate to a good cause or organization. The remaining would go towards funding my next horror project as an independent filmmaker.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
So many to choose! My mother would definitely be first on that list because she was (and remains) my best friend, mentor and hero. However, I’d also have to say surviving a horror movie with Jamie Lee Curtis would be a DREAM COME TRUE!!!
