Horror is my escape from reality when it gets too scary. I left a physically and abusive relationship because horror gave me strength.

What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
One Halloween, for a party based on movies, I built a prop from an old broke. TV of Samara climbing out of it. Some people wouldn’t go on my porch due to it.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I have seen so many, and know all the rules. The queen Laurie Strode has been my idol. I can think rationally in a crisis and have survived so much already.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
My ex ran up a hefty debt with my credit, so I would take care of some of that. But I would also try to find a project in my community I could invest in to improve my city as well.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
Jamie Lee Curtis. She’s always so kind and caring in interviews, is a supportive mother, so funny and I feel like I could learn so much surviving with her.
