What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Once while at a spook event, I was down & moping around when I hit some red tape, looked up and was staring back into the eyes of my first horror love: the Green Goblin 18-wheeler from my first, and maybe still, favorite horror movie: Maximum Overdrive. Standing face to face, I was so overwhelmed, it literally made me cry. I'd always wanted to see it & it was a perfect treat at the perfect time.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I wish I could say I would make it to the end of the horror movie, but I am the real life master of my own destruction... I'd definitely follow creepy sounds into dark corners, buddy up with the doomed, and well- I'm a visible minority, so my chances are nil at best
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I have been rather unlucky as of late... i lost my mother, house, partner, my best friend, a dog and two cats in the past 4 years. Following that loss... or during, I lost a dream job & resorted to living in car, then it got fried... this could end my struggle with homelessness and conclude my own horror story with a happy ending
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My niece Lauren. She and her wife are such adventurers: skydiving, paragliding, uproot n move on a whim- kind of adventurers. More, in every way I was afraid to be authentically me as an outcast in our family, she never was. She has always been unapologetically herself, never considering fear.
