What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
One Halloween night, I decided to take a shortcut home through a dark alley behind my neighborhood. The air was cold and still, and the leaves crunched under my boots with every step. Halfway through, I saw a single jack-o’-lantern flickering on a crate—except no one lived anywhere nearby. I thought it was cute… until the candle inside went out all by itself, and I heard footsteps behind me. When I turned around, there was no one there. I ran the rest of the way home, and to this day, I still do
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’d make it to the end of a horror movie because I know all the rules—don’t split up, don’t go into creepy basements, and absolutely don’t investigate strange noises alone. Plus, I’ve got the perfect mix of common sense, sass, and speed. The killer wouldn’t stand a chance… I’d be out of there faster than you can say “final girl.”
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I’d use that $13,000 to fuel my fall and Halloween baking obsession—pumpkin breads, ghost cookies, you name it—because nothing says “cozy season” like the smell of cinnamon in the air. I’d also spoil my family with a spooky feast worthy of a haunted mansion… and maybe keep just enough aside for a secret stash of sprinkles and candy eyeballs.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My real-life hero in a horror movie would absolutely be my husband. He’s fast, smart, and strong, with the kind of fighting skills that make villains think twice. He’s fiercely protective—so much so, I know he’d burn an entire city down just to come rescue me. With him by my side, I wouldn’t just survive—I’d dominate the nightmare. No creepy villain stands a chance when he’s on the hunt.
