Halloween is unadulterated self expression for me. Halloween decorations? They're my everyday home decor, my aesthetic, and my comfort.
You decide who wins the sinister $13,000, and meets Jamie Lee Curtis, Matthew Lillard, and Kane Hodder!
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
When I was younger, my mom threw my girlscout troop a big halloween bash. We all got to dress up, eat Halloween themed food, play Halloween themed games, trade candy and watch scary movies together. People tend to get disillusioned over what the spirit of Halloween is, and for me, it’s that childlike joy and wonder people feel on Christmas.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I’ve always joked that if I had one skill, it would be surviving. I worked in the restaurant industry for 15 years, and let me tell you, that’s scarier than any movie. I’d survive because I wouldn’t succumb to acting without thinking. I’m also a middle child, so I automatically get a stealth and invisibility buff. They can’t kill me if they can’t find me.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
If I were to win the $13,000 I’d love to help my mom and be take care of her. She’s been in and out of the hospital suffering from seizures. After everything she’s done for me, it would mean the world to be able to lend her a hand in any way I can. My sister is also about to be a first time mother with limited resources, so to be able to lend both of them assistance would be a a welcomed gift for my family. The scariest thing about this upcoming Halloween is watching my loved ones struggle.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My real life hero, someone I would WANT to survive a horror movie with? My little brother, Thomas. I could lie and pick any famous person, and make up a story about that. But my little brother saved my life in ways he’s not even aware of. He kept me going when I felt like giving up. I couldn’t be more proud of the person he’s become, and I know if I could pick anyone to keep me level headed and alive in a horror movie, it would be him.
