I have loved horror for 50 years: I sing, draw, paint, etc.: I am a horror writer and can’t wait for the world to see my work!
You decide who wins the sinister $13,000, and meets Jamie Lee Curtis, Matthew Lillard, and Kane Hodder!
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
The time my friends and I dressed as Kiss: I made all the outfits, including platform boots: we could barely walk in them. We were crossing the street and a car was coming. Once safe on the other side, we were rolling on the grass (our boots ruined, our ankles in pain), laughing at the mental image of ourselves running, hobbling, stumbling, and falling. Needless to say, the numerous times I made Kiss outfits after that, they never had the platforms: lol!
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I grew up in an abusive, dysfunctional home where I was made to believe I had no value unless I was helping someone else. As a child I decided that no one would ever abuse someone I love as long as I was around: thus, my 30 years plus, of Martial Arts and Boxing training, I will probably die on the side of the road, protecting someone: if so, okay. But I could never see someone less fortunate being abused and do nothing. I would reverse the role and make the hunter the hunted!
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
A couple grand would finance myself a well-deserved rest. I’d throw a couple grand to my daughter and her significant other for taking me in when I got busted up in a major car accident. The majority would go toward Autism Activism: I plan the mesh my recent writing successes with the Autism community to somehow add my “voice “ to an already established movement or get the community to help me elevate my writing, as a platform to help these amazingly beautiful children and their families!
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My hero is a seven-year-old Autistic girl (my granddaughter, Shelby). Not only is she my hero, she is idol, my most precious gift, my inspiration, and everything I aspire to be! Watching this amazing child (unpolluted by society) overcome the unique struggles she faces everyday, is overwhelmingly painful but also profoundly beautiful! I would survive with Jamie Lee Curtis! In my script, after we escaped the threat, we would fall madly in love and live happily ever after!
