Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
My most memorable Halloween experience was visiting the town and film sites of The Blair Witch Project. I went on my own and waited, of course, until all the hype had died down. It was amazing and beautiful. It was obvious why I was there, but because I waited I was able to truly enjoy the experience and keep things quiet for the locals.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I do not check out that noise. I head for the door and not the stairs. I don't engage in adult activities when something seems off about a location. I don't say, "I'll be right back,". I keep my back to the closed spaces and face to the open spaces. I know I just have to be faster than the person behind me. I know I cannot help anyone if I am dead, so I aim to stay alive. I don't ask, "Who's there?" or make loud noises when I know I need to be quiet. I fully believe in removing the head.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
Well, taxes will take it down to about $9000. I was raised in the church, so I would give $1000 to the church (probably, more specifically, an organization who will use it to work directly with underserved communities instead of adding stained glass windows). This leaves me with $8K and while I could be responsible, I would probably use it to take the EF Tour to Ireland I have dreamed about for years and visit Salem for at least a week during Spooky Season.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
I mean, hands-down, Jamie. Lee. Curtis. (Is there even another answer, albeit wrong, to this?) But, given I do not know her in real-life, my real-life hero who I would want to survive a horror movie with is my dad. He seems super awesome and sweet, but in actuality he is a bad@$$ who I would advise to not push too far- just like me. He is smart, patient, and very in-tune to sensing and avoiding danger. He would also 100% survive.
