What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?

One of my most memorable Halloween traditions was going to Party City every year with my mom to pick out a costume. One year, she bought me a $20 pumpkin costume. That ended up being my go-to outfit for the next three years. It was never really about having the newest or flashiest costume. For me, it was about being in the spirit of Halloween, heading out into the neighborhood, and going trick-or-treating.

Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.

I’ve got main character energy and background character survival instincts. That’s a rare combo. I’m observant, quick on my feet, and I don’t wait around to “see what happens.” If the lights flicker, I’m gone. If the town has a weird legend? I believe it. And if someone suggests we play with the Ouija board. Consider that my cue to exit the group chat. The bottom line is I’m not just surviving. I’m rolling the credits.

What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?

Receiving $13,000 would make a huge difference in helping me stay afloat financially. A portion of it would immediately go toward essential living expenses like rent, groceries, transportation, and utilities. In today’s economy, even a few months of financial breathing room can be life-changing. Another portion would go directly toward paying down student loan debt. This support would give me the stability to keep moving forward instead of falling behind.

Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?

I’d Choose Mr. Rogers to Survive a Horror Story With First of all, Mr. Rogers has the calmest energy on Earth. While everyone else is screaming, panicking, and running into traps, he’d be like, “Let’s take a deep breath and think about this.” That kind of level-headedness is crucial to have in a crisis. He’d probably talk the ghost out of haunting us. Or sit down with the masked killer and say, “I hear you’re hurting. Would you like to talk about it?” And some way it would work.
