Halloween was my 1st movie—my mom was pregnant with me. I’ve written for FANGORIA… I’ve studied the genre…but I’ve never met JLC!!!!! HELP!!
You decide who wins the sinister $13,000, and meets Jamie Lee Curtis, Matthew Lillard, and Kane Hodder!
Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Let’s go back to 1986. My mother was (still is) obsessed with Halloween, & she always made our costumes. Well, I was in 5th grade & I was a ghost. My mother thought it would be a great idea to put me in white stockings. Well, needless to say, I was made fun of by all of the kids. I cried, not understanding why. But I look back & remember how much stronger that day made me. After that, I never cared what my costume was, because on Halloween, you can be anything you want! It truly set me free!
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
Maybe in the 80’s or 90’s I’d have gotten slashed first or second…but living in today’s society…I’d be the Final Boy because I’m a fabulous gay man, and we can out smart anyone nowadays!
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
Well, full transparency…most would go to my student loans. However…with a nice chunk of that, I would finally be able to purchase the original movie poster to the original Halloween & then make sure Jamie Lee signs it.
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
I know this is gonna sound lame…but my mother has ALWAYS been my hero. She has protected me my entire life. I would fight off any boogeyman to make she and I made it through the night. Of course, her nagging would probably make me think twice about that choice, but between my knowledge of horror flicks & her smarts & strength, we’d make it at least until the end of the trilogy.
