Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
Every year on Halloween I take my kid sister trick or treating, I work at Spirit Halloween, we go Halloween decor hunting, and visit the horror exhibit at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle! One year, my sister got sick so we skipped out on trick or treating and stayed home to scare our neighbors, hand out candy, and do a Child’s Play marathon. That is probably one of my favorite Halloween memories!
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
As an avid horror movie watcher, I take inspiration from Randy Meeks and Kirby Reed, I know all the rules. I am willing to fight to the death and I don’t mess with spirits. If I were being chased, I would never run up stairs or trip on tree stumps. I don’t own a gun but I will sick my dog on you! However, as a black woman, I know I’m going to die first anyway.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
$13,000 is a truly a life changing amount of money! I would pay off my loans, get a new car, help my parents, and maybe even add to my collection of horror tattoos and memorabilia!
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My real life hero is my mom. As a DV victim, she is the real horror movie survivor. She witnessed things and has gone through enough trauma for 100 people. She made her way through life alone and found love and happiness. She always puts everyone above herself and works hard to make sure we are comfortable and happy. If I were in a horror movie with her I know I’d survive because she would sacrifice herself for me in a heartbeat.
