Dying to know what Face of Halloween is all about?
What’s your most memorable Halloween experience?
My most memorable Halloween was the one we almost didn’t get. In 2024, My wife flew from Scotland to Minnesota, and for a moment, distance didn’t exist. On Halloween, We dressed up, held each other, and pretended time wasn’t running out. Every second felt fragile, like it could be taken away at any moment. That night wasn’t just a memory, it was proof of what we had. And that makes being apart now feel like real horror. Now that we are kept apart, her absence is what haunts me.
Tell us why you would make it to the end of a horror movie.
I will survive because I don’t stop. I’m already living through the horror of distance, uncertainty, and the slow fear of losing the person I love most. That kind of pressure either breaks you or hardens you. It made me relentless. Every decision I make is to get back to her. I keep moving, keep thinking, keep trying because stopping isn’t an option. In a horror movie, that kind of focus, the kind that keeps you moving no matter how dark it gets is what keeps you alive, what gets you to the end.
What would you do with the unlucky $13,000?
I would use it to finally be with my wife. That is my One Wish. We’ve been kept apart by immigration barriers, time, distance, and money, for years. 3 years, 3 months and 13 days to be exact. We’ve done everything right, and it still hasn’t been enough. It wears on you. It changes you. This isn’t just a prize. To us, it’s a chance to close the distance for good. A way to stop living through screens and finally exist in the same place. Together. Follow our story on Instagram: @one_wish_obsession
Who is your real-life hero who you would want to survive a horror movie with?
My wife is my real life hero. She’s endured distance, uncertainty, and everything that’s tried to keep us apart, and she’s still here. Still choosing us. Loving her has made me stronger, more driven, and more certain of what matters. It’s also shown me what it means to hold on when things aren’t easy. If I had to survive a horror movie, I’d want her beside me. She’s the reason I keep going, no matter how impossible things feel. She doesn’t give up, and neither do I.
